Id-e-Milad-un-Nabi is an important religious festival of Muslims. It is the birthday celebration of Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad was born on the 12th day of Rabi-ul-Awwal (third month of the Muslim year). During this festival, the Muslims of all age groups visit mosques and offer special prayers to Allah for the welfare of the faith and the remission of all sins. At the end of the prayer, learned men deliver sermons focusing on life and noble deeds of the Prophet.

All about Bhadrak
The district has an area of 2,677 km² and a population of 1,332,249 according to the 2001 census. Bhadrak town is situated at a distance of 159 km from the state capital, Bhubaneswar, Orissa and population of 92,397. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%.Bhadrak has an average literacy rate of 65%, higher than the national average of 59.5%; with 57% of males and 43% of females literate.It is one of the coastal district of Orissa.
Bhadrak is famous for various things, such as it's glorious history during freedom fight, majar-e-sarif of Hazrat Mujahid-e-Millat(at Dhamnagar), Majar-e-sarif of Pir Mansoor Baba(at Barda), bhadrakali temple, biranchi narayan surya temple(palia bindha), akhandalamani, special palua ladu, kali puja & also for fine rice. Charampa is famous for 7day long kali puja & also it is significantly termed as the rice bowl of orissa. In bhadrak various religion's people are lived.
